Southwind Arts Almanac is an annual English-language art publication that explores the intersections of queer culture and contemporary Asian art. This book brings together 30 international artists, activists, curators and scholars to explore diverse expressions of Asian queerness in contemporary art from Asia and diasporas in Asia, Europe, North America and Australia.

Expanding across contemporary art, performance and activism, this book offers an archive of queer artistic expressions. Dialogue, document and creative insights into the lives and intersectional struggles of LGBTIQ+ artists. By sharing personal experiences, art expressions and critical conversations about what it means to be queer and Asian in the context of contemporary art practice, the book speaks to multiple art forms and disciplines of queer politics in life, art and community.
